A Lattice partner

HDL Works is a member of the Lattice Partner Program. Through this partner program HDL Works is able to support Lattice FPGAs in its IO Checker and BoardTrace software packages.

IO Checker

Every time you place an FPGA on a custom developed board you need to check if the FPGA is connected on the board the same it has been programmed in the Diamond or Radiant software. Using IO Checker you can use the pin reported generated by the Lattice software and compare it with the wires connected to the FPGA on the board.

BoardTrace

BoardTrace can be used to verify the signal flow of an FPGA to connected boards in a system. Instead of working with spreadsheets, BoardTrace shows the programmed FPGA signals connected to other boards over the connectors.

All Lattice FPGAs developed with the Diamond or Radiant tools are supported in BoardTrace.
